If I move to that <800 sq ft log cabin I'm looking at in the westernmost part of NC I'll need ideas on how to gain sustenance from the local wildlife ! Dress nice, go into town and have a few $ to spend, that will attract some native wildlife.

The Harrahs Cherokee Casino is a little bit south of where I'm looking but a casino trip has forever been out of my tax bracket! Just south of the Nantahala I'm wondering about a bear on the porch when I go out groggy with my first coffee. If you've never eaten rabbit you just don't know that cooked right... just like any game meat it can be very tasty!

I went there a couple years ago and wow, has that place changed from 15 years ago.

Asheville seems a good ways north to where I'd like to be when the estate business is closed and I get the heck out of this new liberal mecca. But they have some good bands up there the last twenty years that if I wasn't tied down figuratively I'd hit if I could!

One of my favorites pizzas has Jalapenos/Habaneros and the other has Pineapples. And add a good IPA or three. Careful now, there 's peeps here that don't like no stinkin' IPAs BTW I'm not one of them

JohnJ
Looks like an adolescent in the pic you took through the window! The cub looks cuddly though, or is it the same one different perspective? We don't have brown bears down here but a 300# black one would keep me inside. Back to PIZZA. I don't like the banana peppers put on the pizza until after it's cooked. If the onion and pepper is still crunchy and I eat it too fast like most of the time I eat pizza I'll get heartburn often. DerekNerdik
BigStewMan
pineapple -- yes ketchup -- yes hot sauce -- oh yeah ironically, my least favorite pizza topping is pepperoni. I never order pepperoni ... sausage and ham are good. had a good idea the other night ... way above my skill level to prepare though. pizza dough, gravy (like breakfast biscuits & gravy gravy), shredded hash browns, breakfast sausage, onions and a ton of cheese. Breakfast Pizza.

Breakfast Pizza. I just use the hash browns as the crust. The fun part is flipping it over with a flick of the wrist, then adding toppings as required.
JJkizak
Pepperoni is at least 50% of the pizza taste for me. I wouldn't have one without it. JJK

Zen Traveler
I found out about pineapple on pizza in something called a Hawaiian Pizza. It was good for a second selection but for breakfast it's ...muy bueno!
