WOW, that blue is lovely !!!

TRY to get the left channel's  ribbon speaker leads as far away as possible, from the 120 VAC Line cord powering that amp.  It might be an optical seclusion, but it looks like the speaker leads are laying on the 120 VAC cord, as photographed.   Put a tube box, or something like that, between the two.   Listen to that, both ways.  You decide.

BTW, we both no how to spel illusion.   Very nice photo.

What a fascinating collection of ingenuity and expertise!  My avatar (qv) is one of a pair of Joule Electra 100-watt OTL monoblocs. Jud Barber had a wonderful sense of design, and I find there amps very attractive.  He apparently wasn't a great circuit engineer.  I have a JE preamp which has always been my favorite preamp.

Jud has long faded from the scene, and his products are now very hard to find on the used market, for good reason.  Of course, I can't tell you a dam thing about them,

Hey Fullrange, give some of these NOS Russian tubes a try in your amplifier 6N3C. They are the Russian designation for the 6L6, same thing but made when tubes ruled, most to military standards. If you like the 6L6 sound you will like these tubes and they can be purchased on Ebay for give away prices, for what you get. I just bought 4 of them from a USA seller for $25 on Ebay. On Ebay just search for 6L6 and in some descriptions you will find they are 6N3C's or just search for 6N3C. I much prefer NOS tubes over the current productions.

By the way nice looking tube gear.

My "Little Sweetie" 6Y6 amplifier designed by our own Maynard. Not much to look at but such a sweet sound. I used a toroid transformer and made mine stereo instead of mono. I found the design on diyaudio.

At a glance, stereo breadboard two stage audio amp Travis.  Possibly unfinished.

Octal socket input tube, capacitor coupled ( silver caps ) to a DHT 4 PIN Finals tube ( 45, 2A3, etc.) with electrolytic caps bypassing the Finals' tubes cathode resistors.  " Allied " 10K to 10K transformers doing ...what ???   Missing output XFRs??????  ( can only see three leads to 4PIN Finals tube ).
