wrenchmaster
I had a 2.1 THX unit I purchased in 2001 go down. I purchased a new replacement about 6 months ago. My problem is I notice an amazing amount of static from L and R speakers. After I purchased the new unit I dug into my old unit and found out the woofer speaker foam had deteriorated . I purchased a replace woofer and put that unit in my garage. I don't seem to have the static on that unit. The static is horrible on the new setup
Bubo
If they are not connected to the source, do they still have static ? If you change the source is the static still there ? Could be bad on board amp Check the wiring twice, 90% of all failure are the wires and connectors.
