The manual has a page titled "How to disable auto standby." Interesting. Your question was answered in the product manual. Who'd a thunk? 😉
DannyW
I have the same question and yes it is shown in the manual nut it does not make sense. Step #2 says to press and hold the volume/select button, and later step #5 says to press the same button, but you are still holding it? How does that work? Something is missing in this sequence. I must not be seeing something in the pictures. 1) Select Input 2) Press and HOLD Volume/Select button 3) Press SUB button on remote 4) Release SUB button on remote 5) Press Volume/Select (BUT YOU ARE STILL HOLDING IT) 6) LED Turns Purple 7) Press SUB on remote (and release?) I cannot make sense of the picture. Can somebody please give a written description of what to do to disable and then later enable standby mode? BeBopBoy
Hi, I recently got a pair of The Fives and love them but hate them because they keep going to sleep and unpairing from the source. I thought I could tolerate this but it is now really angering me. I've only had them for six weeks and now I'm looking for new speakers that ARE NOT KLIPSCH!!! I can't stop listening to a song for five minutes to write some music out before I have to put my horn down and go to the speakers and touch them and then open system preferences etc....This is not acceptable. #!&!@*^%$
Alexo
Just got the heritage promedia 2.1 and i faced this issue. Any fix for this set? I'm not able to find anything useful in the manuals that came with the speakers, needless to say on the support webpage.
DannyK
Hi, I have this same issue with 51PM. I have tried the steps in the manual too and it does not stop the shutting down. Also there seems to be a Klipsche Connect app which some posts mention to fix this issue. I downloaded that but it does not seem to be able to connect. SylvainP
Hi, I have this same issue with 51PM in bluetooth mode. I have tried the steps in the manual too, light went purple as explained in the manual but it does not stop the shutting down, this is really annoying
