Belle Klipsch Q’s

Hello and thank you for your time! After many years of searching for a nice clean pair of Belle’s.... I found them!

These appear to be a newer edition, can anybody confirm the year? Consecutive serial numbers 0001 and 0002 is this rare thing or not so much? The tweeter’s seem to have little to no identification on them? Normal for that particular model year or are they some sort of aftermarket replacement?
 Please see the pictures below.

thanks

Your Belles were made in 1989.  The serial numbers just mean they were there first ones made that year.  Pretty cool but nothing out of the ordinary.

The tweeters look good.

Congrats!  Very jealous!

Actually , these Belle Speakers were manufactured by Klipsch in 1998 based on the serial nos  and this styled serial no tag itself was not  used in 1989 -

Here is what a 1989  Belle serial number sticker would look like , an all white larger computer printed tag -

as for the tweeters , these are  the K77M  , with the Z-brackets which were discontinued by EV in  2000, along with the K55M and they are the original tweeters for 1998

What part of the serial number indicates that?  Just trying to learn.  Sometimes the tags are hard to figure out.

I revised these to 1998  manufacturing - these are the  1st consecutive pair of Klipsch Belle Oak oil veneer speakers made at the Hope Factory  between the 07-06-1998 and the 07-12-1998 -

so these speakers are 22 years old ---------and the Belle was discontinued in 2005-2006 as the sales were very , very low

That has always confused me. A good friend bought his Belle’s in Corpus Christi after demoing La Scala’s and K-horns. Bought the top Yamaha separates to drive them. He liked the sound of the Belle’s better the La Scala’s and his apartment did not have two corners for the K-Horns.

The size difference between Belle’s and La Scala’s should have helped sales.

the Belle was more money that a La Scala  ,   and less Money than a Khorn ,Peter Hunter had said that in the last year of production   which is 2001  they only  had  a couple of sales for the speakers , and that was the reason they pulled it  from the catalogue-  I had thought that it was due to PWK's passing , but no ,it was the lack of interest in the speaker -  and we all agree the Belle is a Beautiful  speaker -

now don't forget that the Cornwall 2 was pulled in 1990  , and it did not come back till 2006 with the CW3 because the Consumer wanted it -----that's 16 years , the Belle has been gone for 19 years ,  but the Jubilee  came in  ,  and it's the best ever -

hello,

can you tell me anything about Belle speakers, one of which has the following tags on the speaker and photos of the horns. they also have green speaker cloth for the bottom portion of the speakers.

Sorry, I don't see a way to attach my photos...

Thank you
