Once I gave it to my cat, he would never eat anything else. Our dogs, too. They were hooked on cat food. Chicken and rice are great for dogs digestive system. Any time ours has any gastro issues that's what he gets and it straightens him out. Same with our other dogs in the past.
JL Sargent
Stop by small rural/country grocery stores when you see them. I bet there is a lot of that cat food out there still.
CECAA850
Have you ever tried a raw diet with the cat?
Mighty Favog
Update: He's doing better. We found a similar flavor to his old food (pate' vs. flaked) and pureed it also like the old food. Then I picked up a few 10ml. syringes from my pharmacist (no needles) and started force feeding him a couple times a day. There was about as much resistance as expected. The good thing was last night and tonight he started licking the end of the syringe by himself without getting him to open his mouth. The only thing left if to get him to eat from his plate. But we'll get there.
