I recently purchased the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 online at Costco taking advantage of their big sale. No issues in terms of sound but when I unboxed it there was a strong smell almost like lacquer paint. It persisted for at least a day (tbh it could still be there just I am acclimated). I was thinking I had gotten a refurbished model perhaps and that this was some sort of paint or something added, but I am guessing this is unlikely.
