michaelwjones
I have nothing to do with this sale other than stumbling upon it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Medura-15-Klipsch-Inspired-V1a-La-Scala-Mini-Speaker-Set-Handcrafted-In-USA/264885304971?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 You have to admit they are cute for being less than 12" tall... Moderators dtel Posted October 10, 2020 Moderators Share Posted October 10, 2020 They do look nice, But I wouldn't get excited about the sound, the woodworking is good from what you can see. A little edge banding on the front would finish them off. Wonder how they would sound with RB 75 parts ?

Islander
They are pretty cute, all right. However, they’re La Scala II style, which is fine, but the panels are a bit too thin, giving the look of the 3/4” sides of the original LS, rather than the 1” panels of the LS2. I’m looking at my LS2s and original Scalas as I type this, and it’s clear to me. Maybe I’m being too picky. They are pretty cute. Wonder what they sound like? How low could that bass horn go? 200 Hz? They’re so cute, it almost doesn’t matter.
Islander
I wonder if the backs come off? They could be a great visual aid for visitors who are mystified by how La Scala bass horns work.
JJkizak
The pedestal is nice too. JJK
baron167
Being that they are handcrafted on Maryland's Eastern Shore, he should source locally and have ALK make his mini crossovers[emoji1787]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
DizRotus
They’re cute, but it’s too damn hard finding mini-bass waves for those mini-bass horns.
yamahaSHO
I came across these on eBay and came here to see if there were any reviews. I am curious to know what they sound like... Just not curious enough at that price+shipping as my actual La Scalas were like only $250 more. 😛

As far as the little speakers go, I've long commented that it would be cool if Klipsch made PC speakers in the form of some of their Heritage.... add a Pro Media sub to them and they might sound terrific sitting on your desk. Might have to move a couple things though.
