make / manufacturer: Klipsch
model name / number: La Scala

I have decided to put my Klipsch La Scalas up for sale. These are in great condition and have several upgrades to improve the listening experience. Sequential serial numbers 8668465 and 8668466. Finished in Birch veneer, these speakers look almost as good as they sound!

Currently, speakers are equipped with the following:
K-55-V Drivers
Crites CT125 Tweeters
B&K Sound Type A-4500 Hz crossovers
Crites 1526C Cast-Frame Woofers
Fastrac Wooden Horns

Indeed, almost everything has been upgraded to achieve the best sound possible. Currently, they are driven by a Fisher 400, and I would be happy to audition them for a serious buyer (masks and social distancing required).

For full asking price, I am willing to deliver within a reasonable distance.

2000 OBO

Please reach out with any questions you have.

Are they the same size as Cronwalls dimension wise?

No... each LS is like two Cornwalls placed together face to face. They are the same height though.

All the drivers are the same as your CW, but the LS mid range has a much longer and larger horn profile/lens.

Where the LS really shines is in the low frequency performance, there is no direct radiating woofer that can match the sound that comes from a folded horn design.

offer 1200 and be prepared to move to 1500

Spot on.  The average price for LS is about $1160.  With all the add-ons $1500 would be a pretty good deal.

This pair really is Value Added for the knowledgeable Klipsch formumite.  Crites A/4500 XO (I used to own some), Crites CT-125 tweeter, Crites 1526C Cast-Frame Woofers
Fastrac Wooden Horns, all good stuff.  There is some legit money added to the OEM but most buyers want stock and won't pay premium prices for non-Klipsch components.
