I have had the Klipsch RSW-15 since new for over 15 years I think.

It is a great sub, but today started cutting in and out and making a click noise each time.\

Is it toast? Can I send to Klipsch for repair or order parts? It was over $1000 15 years ago so hate to discard.

Help!!!

The driver is clicking or the amp plate? I had an rt-10d from the same Era that started clicking and it was the driver. Replacement was the only option.

Sounds like his is the amp, especially considering the age.

@Ken Uridge There is a member here @ngen33r that repairs the amps in these subs. Also there is service on EBAY called Edwards Electronics that does the servicing also. Many people have posted they are happy with EE's work. You must remove the amp assy. from the sub and send them only the amp.

Much appreciated.. I will reach out to them.. Hopefully the unit comes apart to access the needed parts easily.

Ken

the Service manual is on the HIFI Engine  ,  some components are overheating , and the amp goes into protection -   any local shop that repair electronics can do the repair -on average 2h plus parts -
