Does it matter where it came from..

Of course it does matter where it came from, because we are going to make "them" pay for it!

Or how it effects is all..

Ah, who cares?  As long as we don't have "the numbers" that Italy or China has, we're golden!

And how to deal with it...?

Don't worry, it'll go away, just like magic.  Trust me.....

i heard that some of the younger crowd are now referring to this virus as the “Boomer Remover.”

While i’m sure they think it’s funny -- watching the crowds for spring break is upsetting.

I saw two photos this morning, one was supposedly a subway in London and the other in Canada. They were from March 20th, the Toronto one is empty, the London was was crammed full like a can a sardines.

Saw another photo from the UK, where there is a really long line of people in front of an ice cream shop.

Look out for the welfare of each other ... so long as ice cream isn’t involved.

I am not on any other forums and I am trying to be careful here. I did not see the comment on the mayor until you  pointed this out

Chinese specialist went to Italy to help. This is what we all are supposed to do.  Share knowledge in fighting this.  BTW, they were shocked to see what they saw.  Stating that Italy was not taking enough steps to keep this under control, pointing out "why isn't everyone wearing masks?"  Italy has actually done more then the USA...

I am upset with the Chinese government, not its doctors or people.  Their response to the man child's naming of this as the "Chinese Virus" in an attempt to play the blame game is a child's response.  The Chinese Government should have taken the high road and issued a response stating that this is not appropriate, other countries have had similar outbreaks (remember mad cow), and that we are a world community and that they are there to provide information and help.  Sinking to the level of blaming the USA, by Iran's Govt and the Chinese Govt is just sinking to the lowest level playing the same game.  It is also harming innocent people in Iran. I know Iranians who live here and are my friends and business owners and contribute to our society.

I still don't like the "Death to America" crowd.  😡

I was professionally active in China for many years. Have you ever been there? Do you have any idea how to control over 1 billion people and hundreds of cities the size of New York?  I believe that there was an accident in scientific experiments where this virus was transmitted to mankind. I don't want to politicize this issue now and I don't want to talk about the difference between a communist country and democratic countries. But one thing at least for me, who has flown over the globe for over 20 years and has friends all over the world, is that all political elites are dependent on the welfare of their country's population. So far, world history has taught us that population has always won in the end. All people in this world strive for the same values in life regardless of their political and cultural background.  Please don't take my statement personally, because we in Germany are of course concerned about the same things, but we don't see the Chinese as a deliberate aggression that should harm other nations.

Revolution bad!  Only American revolution good.  Any other is bad unless we are behind it.  Don't worry that there are reasons why they happen, they are bad.  Batista was good (a dictator, jailing his opponents, using terrorist methods, and making fortunes for himself and his associates.)  because he was ours.  Castro bad because he was just as bad but not ours.  When will the hypocrisy end?  They both sucked OK?  Who are the ahole Cuban expatriates pining for the good ole days of batista?  Line'em up.

The German revolution for the reunification of our country was also peaceful, without the use of any army. However, your President Mr. Regan and the Russian President Mr. Gorbatschow have made the years of preparations for our reunification.

Dad's virus came back negative. Out of critical care unit and feeling better, hopefully the doc comes in tomorrow with the all clear to head back home.

Dodged a bullet but it came close.

great news Jason, answered prayers for sure ... don’t imagine a hospital is a safe place right about now.

my brother spent weeks in the hospital last spring/summer after cancer surgery.  one of the nurses said, “Hospitals are a place to recover, not rest."
