The UV light treatment looks interesting. I didn’t really have a problem with him asking about that. It’s a technology that’s been around for a long time.

Anyone following the clotting problem and strokes in people who have come through it.

Apparently, depending on the moron genius in the White House seems to work well for you.

So funny how the left loved him when they were clamoring for donations and interviews for three decades. Then without permission of the deep state he runs for president and now everybody hates The Art of the Deal. Hilariously hypocritical.

Therein lies the real problem. “Deep State”.

It’s a public crisis. He should give a general update and then turn the microphone over to the experts. If he has questions that are off script, he should save them and ask them in private.

There is no agenda. He’s just an easy target. He doesn’t properly prepare and says dumb or toxic things. 90% or what the media asks are directly related to his gaffs. He’s his own worst enemy. If I ran meetings like that I would be terminated.

Best, fair minded, assessment I have seen.

The guy ain't dumb, he's a millionaire. . .

Unfortunately, no filter.

Exactly. I read all sides but believe the one that seems to be a real reflection on how things end up working over time. CNN = disinfomation and agenda driven lies to support the downfall of the constitution and people like Rush and Trump are on Jeffersons side. I want America for my children not a luke warm version of socialism and ever declining freedoms and standards of living. I do not need a nanny and I don't want to dictate how my neighbors live but I also don't want them in my business.

If you really believe all that, you’re lost and there’s really no point in trying to reason.

I just finished a great book by a Tulane professor done in conjunction with their Center for Public Health and Tropical Disease. He's 70 and lives in the Quarter with his wife.

The Great Influenza: The Epic Story of the Greatest Plague in History (2004)

Someone earlier said we don't learn from history, well his NYT Best Seller on the Spainish Flu mentioned two lessons to be learned. The government shouldn't hide it was the first major lesson.

From Wikipedia:

His 2004 book The Great Influenza: The Epic Story of the Greatest Plague in History was also a New York Times Best Seller, and won the 2005 Keck Communication Award from the United States National Academies of Science for the year's outstanding book on science or medicine. In 2005 he also won the "September 11th Award" from the Center for Biodefense and Emerging Pathogens at Brown University. He has served on a federal government's Infectious Disease Board of Experts, on the advisory board of MIT's Center for Engineering Fundamentals, and on the advisory committee at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health for its Center for Refugee and Disaster Respons.

The Keck award is a big deal, and so is the NAS.

it's a must read in these times if you can find it.

And the reason is one which you may not like, if you actually look into it---people like you and I were not meant to really choose.

It has served us well. Could you imagine the voter fraud if we went to “popular vote”. It would make the “hanging chads” debacle minuscule in comparison. Or better yet, let’s open up mail in votes. That ought to work out really well!

Posted this yesterday. Read down abit:

Science magazine is the leading scientific journal in the US and the World, that is beyond question. Having an article published is the Holy Grail for scientists.

Great article, but you know it's going to be a buzz kill when it starts off with:

The lungs are ground zero, but COVID-19 also tears through organ systems from brain to blood vessels.

If you do a quick search of "Covid & strokes," a variety of links (from both sides of the media spectrum) come up.

Believe will just go with my link.

The dreaded S for science.

Thanks!

Yes, that is unfortunate, but an attention grabber. Can understand if no one wants to read it.

‘No agenda?’ Well there is an agenda. Trump is a ‘Washington’ outsider and from day 1 has faced multiple efforts to displace him. While his unscripted big mouth is clearly a problem, make no mistake - there is an agenda that is not in his favor.

The agenda of a free press is to speak truth to power.  That is what Trump fears most and why he continued to attack and discredit the “mainstream” media.  “Mainstream” because it is most trusted by normal Americans.  Trump relies on the cover he gets from the fringe outlets (Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin and the others shouting on the extreme right-wing noise machine) - he even tore at Fox for a small bit of pushback when he was tangled in his lies.  Any criticism he gets is very well deserved and as his whining just further exposes his weakness.  He is the embodiment of the seven deadly sins and possesses no redeeming human virtue.  The press merely sheds light on his antics.
