I looked at the state numbers.  Probably should have posted a link.  I got the numbers from 2 different sites.

Here is the current numbers for Texas:https://txdshs.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/3f048ced32804271aafe8b9640bcb4a7

It says we've had 2,368,222 cases ( probably  379,471 more) with 46,478 deaths.

You didn't quote a site. THAT is why I'm questioning your numbers because they seem outta line with what I've been following.

Ill look for it tomorrow on my own at work.   I can't find squat on my phone.

Edit.  See below

Btw, you are reporting a different number than your link.

The site i got my numbers from listed cases per 100,000

It was talking about per capita and NOT "164 deaths per 100,000 patients," as you say below.

Just looking at numbers as they're fascinating to me.  In TX, the death rate for covid patients is 164 out of every 100,000 patients...

From the link: "Here is a breakdown of COVID-19 deaths per 100,000 people in all 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C. The data was last updated at 7:10 a.m. CDT."

Just looking at numbers as they're fascinating to me.  In TX, the death rate for covid patients is 164 out of every 100,000 patients.  Of those 164 deaths, 136 had commodities.   Basically covid deaths for healthy people are running .00028 of the population.  That's from everything in the past year.  I'd wager that the percentages are even lower now as treatment is better now than in the beginning due to advances in treatment from all that has been learned about the disease.

That all cases, for all ages. It will depend on a number of factors, age distribution probably most significant.

A more useful number is probably death rate for 40+.

Here's top until Texas and the bottom 10 (best in this case)

Nothing like a good ol’ back and forth on death totals. Nearing the 600K mark I mean what the hell - a thousand here, ten thousand there or someone is off by .02% from so and so bullshite data base. I guess this keeps us out of the political and religious weeds. Enough deaths will do that -

AstraZeneca’s absurd and unprecedented dispute with regulators, explained

The company said its Covid-19 vaccine developed with Oxford had 76 percent efficacy in the US after a rare public rebuke from the NIH.

AstraZeneca released updated data on its COVID-19 vaccine, saying a more recent analysis shows the vaccine is 76 percent effective against symptomatic COVID-19. It’s a slight drop from the 79 percent the company touted in an announcement earlier this week. That number was based on outdated data, US health officials said in an unusual public statement rebuking the company.

Anyone see that report on baby aspirin or rather maybe the coated one.

Seems that a trial or observation was noting it keeping off of ventilator. Should have posted when saw it a couple of days ago.

I did see something about that yes.
