I may have had a flu shot but couldn't tell you when it was and it hasn't been in the last 25 years or so. I also have been fortunate to be healthy all of my life. I work around alot of children as well as adult and always felt I've had a healthy immune system...What I learned about Covid I'm curious to see if it translates to the flu virus as well insofar as those with no to mild symptoms may still spread the disease to others. Insofar as covid is concerned, the actual Coronavirus spreads easier and faster although i haven't seen how many people could also be naturally immune. Anyway, like folks have said, the Influenza kills tens of thousands in this country every year so we should expect to see at least the same path with Covid-19...the wildcard is how good therapeutics will be in dealing with the latter. Like you I’ve never had the flu yet for the past several years I get a flu shot in the fall. My doctor recommended it as does my wife. Now getting the COVID vaccine seems the logical thing to do in light of the way we’ve had to live over the past year. And although I look much younger than you, I’m actually older. I've been vaccinated against whooping cough as has my entire family. My oldest daughter and I both came down with it after a trip to New Mexico. The closest its come to us is that my older brother got it and missed a couple weeks of bowling. I'm sorry but you look more like the crypt keeper than someone younger than me. Someone had to say it. The bonus was small, $50, but more are getting shots.
