Fwiw, you can tell by post count you spend WAY more time on this forum than I do

You've been here 4 years longer than I have and given how many year old posts you dig up I'd wager you're on a lot more than I am researching the forum.

it's your life and I'll let you get back to your cocktails.

Meaning exactly what?

I'll just point out in the beginning you and other were hoping for a vaccine and achieving Herd Immunity and now that we are here I definitely want to promote what WE thought was important.

This isn't the type of vaccine anyone thought we were going to get.

Results of investigations into the AstraZeneca-associated blood clots “showed real and serious side-effects,” Danish health agency head Soren Brostrom told a news briefing.

A few people die for the greater good.  What's the issue?

not looking good at all for AstraZeneca ,  it's quite odd ,  they are some of the  most Advanced  Worldwide  in Technology , they use the latest in everything and they never compromise  , if not  , they always exceed norms , this is not up to their  Stricter High Standards , and a major Blow for Oxford -

the manufacturing is done in India -UK -Netherlands , and obviously ,  some  batches are defective -

I edited that out before you posted but I meant you spend more time in the lounge, and in turn on the forum than I do. I'm really not good at small talk and enjoy discussing things that effect us all. I also have a good memory and the search function easily let's me find what I'm looking for.

Cool. I appreciate you being part of the discussion.

Not a problem.  Glad to give you someone to be sanctimonious over.

I am sorry I  hit a nerve. And no, I don't feel morally superior but do feel bringing up past contradictions adds to the discussion. That is why I enjoy a written forum and have no problem people bringing up my past comments because if I said something contrary I definitely want to be able to address it.

----OnlyFans, COVID-19 pandemic have spurred a new sexual revolution

No one is more surprised that Sonja Morgan is the fourth-most popular star on OnlyFans than Sonja Morgan.

She is, after all, 57 years old and most famous as a longstanding “Real Housewife of New York.” Not the sort of person you’d expect on a platform comprised mainly of nudes and homemade soft-core porn.

But Morgan, who is always looking to expand her empire (toaster ovens and a Nigerian football team are among the doomed enterprises known to “RHONY” fans), thought there might be room on OnlyFans for her brand of middle-aged flooziness

remember that time you said ....

Just stirring the pot.  Hope you are well.

I just reached my two week post second covid shot.  I don't have covid and haven't grown any extra limbs; but occasionally I suddenly start speaking Portuguese.  Oh Espire, eu sou Portugues ... so maybe that isn't from the vaccine. Regardless, fica bem meu amigo.

Context is everything.   When I id like a vaccine for stupidity don't try to make it appear I'm looking for a covid vaccine.

Back to vaccines.  There's so much availability to the virus you'd think that they could develop a traditional vaccine by giving you the dead virus or a very small dose of it.  A traditional vaccine if you will.  I'd sign up for that in a second.  It would be a far better alternative than the r n a jacking, blood clotting serum they have out now.

I heard that another side effect was that it causes your children to be born naked.

You must be or are considering running for public office if you don’t mind contradicting yourself or people addressing your past comments. I have heard of people spending fifty years+ “serving the public”  on nothing but contradictions and addressing past guffaws.

Contradicting oneself is big business these days -

I like to think of myself as a truth seeker or at least a consensus builder on things that affect us as Americans or human beings. I also have had too much fun in my life to run for public office. :) Fwiw, I invite people to bring up previous comments because I don't contradict myself and try to stay consistent in my reasoning.

I exercise my right to change my mind...

I totally agree with this although I like pointing out when it seems a person forgot what they said in the past. I respect people when confronted who can say they changed their mind and give a good reason for doing so....

Btw, I was wrong predicting our Covid numbers would go up because of them rescinding the mask ordinance but happy to see so many people wearing their masks at the grocery store.

Israel may be approaching herd immunity. If so, this relatively small population may be useful for larger populations  to consider

(My words):

https://www-bbc-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.bbc.com/news/health-56722186.amp?

From the Link:  Reaching this level of population immunity is important to protect people who can't be vaccinated or whose immune system is too weak to produce a good, protective response.

In Israel, more than half (5.3 million) its residents have been vaccinated and an additional 830,000 people have tested positive for the virus in the past, which should give them some natural immunity.

That works out as roughly 68% of the population who are likely to have antibodies in their blood which can fight off the virus.

Prof Eyal Leshem, a director at Israel's largest hospital, the Sheba Medical Center, said herd immunity was the "only explanation" for the fact that cases continued to fall even as more restrictions were lifted.

"There is a continuous decline despite returning to near normalcy," he said.

"This tells us that even if a person is infected, most people they meet walking around won't be infected by them."

...Which is just 1 of the many points that will keep us from being a lab rat....NO WAY for us.

It's no different than any other vaccine you have taken your entire life.

These types of vaccines, mRna have actually been studied for over a decade. So in terms of the general transfer mechanism, these have been under study and in trials longer than what you typically would see.
