Italy health chief distances himself from spiked WHO report

ROME -- The head of Italy’s national health institute distanced himself Friday from a scandal over a spiked World Health Organization report into Italy’s coronavirus response, saying he had no means to interfere with the U.N. agency and had never censored even inconvenient information from the public.

More young people are getting hospitalized as a 'stickier,' more infectious coronavirus strain becomes dominant

What used to be a mysterious new variant first detected in the UK is now the most dominant coronavirus strain in the US.

And unlike the original strain of the novel coronavirus, the more contagious B.1.1.7 strain is hitting young people particularly hard.
"We are seeing these increases in younger adults, most of whom have not yet been vaccinated."

Steve referred to one type vaccine being cooked up in a lab

I was merely asking where the other was concocted.

forgive me for causing miscommunication.  My "cooked up in a lab" comment was to make the point that the science and methodology behind these vaccines available to us here in the USA is not new science or experimental science ... the process has been around for years and they're just using it again.  it's not like Igor mixed some liquids in a lab and now they're injecting us in hopes that it works. The virus is a new one, not the medical science behind the vaccine.

I'm cynical of many things; but not of the vaccine. According to the CDC, every year 900,000 people get blood clots.  Suddenly, a minuscule amount get a clot after getting vaccinated and they're connecting dots that I don't think  we can connect yet. Maybe this small group of people would have been part of the nearly one million that get clots every year anyway?

I think for the most part, Uncle Sam wants us alive and well so he can tax the crap out of us. They even get a few bucks out of dead people; but the living are the government's cash cows.

It is a small number (I think the number increased to 8 people) but how doctors treat these clots are different than others and Fouci has talked about this on his interviews.

U.S. study identifies the genes that fight coronavirus infections

https://www.ctvnews.ca/health/coronavirus/u-s-study-identifies-the-genes-that-fight-coronavirus-infections-1.5392168

-- A new study has come out identifying the genes in humans that help fight coronavirus infections, which could be the first step in finding new treatment options for patients with severe COVID-19.

Researchers at Sanford Burnham Prebys in California have published a study last Tuesday in Molecular Cell pinpointing 65 genes that control replication of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which is the virus that causes COVID-19.

These genes are called interferon stimulated genes and relate to interferons – the proteins generated by the body to fight off viruses.

The second dose of Moderna and Pfizer vaccines really do pack a wallop. A study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that while 30 percent of recipients experienced fatigue and a quarter suffered headaches after the first dose, those figures climbed to 54 percent and 46 percent, respectively, after the second dose. The number experiencing chills or fever climbed from 9 percent to 30 percent.

China is starting clinical trials of a Covid vaccine that can be inhaled

  • China’s CanSino Biologics will start clinical trials for a Covid-19 vaccine administered through inhalation next week, the company’s co-founder and Chief Executive Xuefeng Yu said on Sunday.
  • Efficacy rates for China’s Covid vaccines have been found to be lower than those developed by Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna.
  • Such a vaccine could be more effective than those injected given that the coronavirus enters the human body through the airways

China seeks to become major global vaccine player in wake of Covid-19 pandemic

The country’s pharmaceutical industry is expanding its production capacity as it gears up to produce 5 billion doses by the end of next year

China is trying to reshape its pharmaceutical industry and take on an unprecedented role as a major vaccine supplier to the rest of the world in light of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.  It aims to produce enough doses to vaccinate 70 per cent of the country’s population, or 980 million people, and the same amount for export by the end of the year,

Fwiw, I posted this is what China was doing probably a month ago. They REALLY are making investments in other countries, using various different mechanisms, and distributing Covid vaccines to 3rd world countries is going to build up their good will in those folks eyes...

And that’s richer - design a viral pandemic then double down to become a major player in the vaccine game -

China's economy grows 18.3 percent but Covid recovery shows signs of slowing

A year after the Covid-19 pandemic shuttered shops and closed factories, China’s economy has burst back to life.

The country’s gross domestic product soared 18.3 percent in the first quarter of this year when compared to the same period in 2020, according to official figures announced Friday.

That’s the biggest year-on-year leap since Beijing’s National Bureau of Statistics began releasing GDP figures in 1992.

Create a need and then create a supply for that

Fwiw, we were warned about bringing up this subject.
