Need help selecting drivers KLF30

Yes, the KLF30 woofer and Jubilee woofer are both K-31 and will have similar specs

So do those specs say anything about whether the Ciare is a good replacement for K-31?  It seems that Klipsch has exactly 2 in stock, even though the new Jubilee is coming out.  

 

Also, the new K-31s cost ~120, if I remember correctly.  So the Ciare is not ridiculously more expensive.

I would suggest you purchase a matching set of four new woofers from Klipsch when available and sell off your existing woofers then. This is the only way you can insure matching drivers all around.Your old woofers will sell fast and match with those out in the market place which need replacements.

If you haven't bought your BB plywood I would look for another sourse. HD BB plywood or there MDF is not very good quality. I recently bought BB from rockler wood supply for a good price, they are a national chain. 

 

Do a search for BB plywood for sale in your area. Read up on MDF there are different grades, if HD MDF gets near water it absorbs it like a sponge. Then it gets black mold spots, not good. If you do use HD MDF seal it to help keep water out.
