Ears -- "NAD" is not a word, it is an acronym. Technically, it's N.A.D.

I can't help it that marketing people don't know English.

I'm sure the periods were left out so people would say "Nad", instead of "N. A. D."

Incidently, John's post was not a joke. "NAD" indeed stands for "New Acoustic Dimension".

Damn! Just when I thought it was settled, I come back 2 hours later and you guys have me unsure again. I think that I'll go with N.A.D. I know it's petty, but it always bothers me when people mispronounce things and act as if they know what they're talking about. I think N.A.D. is a little safer than going around referring to nad like I'm some bigshot. Of course, please be assured that I do realize how inconsequential this whole matter is. But hey, if you have a question, ask it.
