Mr. Bissness 55 Posted November 29, 2020 Nice pair of “homemade” oak risers that fit the forte..... “Free” just pay shipping from Chattanooga. I tried to make them work with a pair of walnut but found the proper set. Thanks
EpicKlipschFan 456 Posted November 30, 2020 are these original risers? the solid bottom board & black routed band doesnt look like any forte/chorus risers ive owned or seen before.
Mr. Bissness 55 Posted November 30, 2020 I think you might be correct the router edge is different when I look at my walnut risers.
Mr. Bissness 55 Posted November 30, 2020 Yep they look homemade. Here’s behind the bottom panel ...
Madman1 137 Posted November 30, 2020 Probably better built than the mdf that came on mine. 🤨
Mr. Bissness 55 Posted December 1, 2020 The oak veneer is on both sides. I bet it was a cabinet or bookshelf at one time. These are more solid than the walnut ones currently used.
314carpenter 714 Posted December 6, 2020 What's with that extra plywood cap with old paint and janky 1/2" plywood screwed to the inside? Couldn't afford the extra expense of new wood and some extra hardware? What a deal. I have some solid oak scrap wood around here in better shape anyone could have for far less than a hundred dollar bill.

314carpenter 714 Posted December 6, 2020 These are not original Klipsch parts, or even good reproductions. These are scraps of wood. The asking price clearly does not commensurate the sale item or quality.
RandyH000 7212 Posted December 6, 2020 GLWS , am I correct that Both risers have a different wood grain -

One was sanded and walnut stain applied. Ok so here’s the deal now. If some one wants em just pay shipping. So sorry to offend Captain Wood Worker with less than cabinet grade speakers risers that sit on the floor beneath the speaker. These were sold with a pair or Forte ii I purchased from another forum member in Chicago. I can’t comment on origins or build quality other than they hold a forte 3 5/8” off the floor. 2

I stand by my question and subjective comment. so its ok for you to bash a members for sale thread, but when someone questions your pricing on your for sale thread you get all bent out of shape & tell them they are causing "controversy" & to remove their comments??? gotcha! "I would appreciate it if you would please exit the thread without further comment." "Please clean up those posts. Please do not post in my garage sales again." - 314carpenter 2

It is now ok for anyone to question and comment. Not just me. Anyone. You too. No one is special here. We learned all about this prior to this thread creation. I did not and will not bash any thread. I feel like YOU are trying to bully me. That is not OK. STOP. This is the way.
