Subwoofer has power but no green light

I just bought my first ever 5.1 set-up and receiver this summer, the Klipsch Reference with Yamaha RX-V385. I noticed the other day my wireless subwoofer (Model: R-8SWi) stopped putting out any sound. The blue light in the back is on, but the green light on the front is off. I've unplugged and re-plugged. Nothing. I set my receiver to small speakers, and the subwoofer is set to "on." Nada.

Here's what the back of my sub looks like.

I saw a post from last year on this sub that says it could be a fuse. I'm obviously a novice when it comes to this kind of stuff. I don't even see a place to replace a fuse. Just wondering, before I go tinkering around with fuses, is there anything else I can try?

Looks like you're using the bluetooth connection.  Did you try to disconnect and reconnect the bluetooth signal?

Yep, tried that too. The plug for the bluetooth set was actually a little loose when I went to check, and I got excited that it might be the problem... until I noticed the light for that part was on anyway. I disconnected and reconnected though (both the plug and the connection to the receiver) but still no luck.

You need to prove you've got a signal going to the sub.

Here's what I'd do: Turn the Gain on the sub all the way down. Connect something like a CD player directly to both sub inputs. Play a disc and gradually increase the sub Gain to see if you hear output.

Yes-you have a wireless connection problem.

No-you have an internal sub problem.

If there's an internal fuse, you'll have to remove the amp from the back of the sub. Remove the power cord. Remove the 8 screws around the perimeter of the plate. You'll likely find an AC line fuse near where the AC plug connects, but it's obvious it's working since you've got the blue light. Look for another fuse somewhere on the plate.

Check that Auto On switch. Try the sub with the switch in it's various positions. In the Auto On position,  from the manual it sounds like the LED is dark with no signal detected. Verify that the LED is dark with no signal, and see if it illuminates when you're sure you're playing a signal. If it does illuminate, you've got an internal amp problem. If you can't find an internal fuse, then the amp needs repair.

Let us know what you find. If you want, take a photo of the component side of the amp. Maybe a forum member can spot any internal fuses and guide you.

Thank you for this great detailed response. This gives me a lot to work on (which I'm super glad about since I've felt so stuck lately). My weekend is packed, so this will probably take several days to work on at least. Really appreciate it, and I'll definitely be back to let ya know what I find!

I'm embarrassed to say this, but this was the issue. It's working now. I may have been too quick in my switching before to notice. I am incredibly relieved it was as simple as this, and, again, really appreciate the help!
