yamahaSHO
Went ahead and did the grilles... I'm pretty happy with how they turned out! They look a bit familiar now. 😛
yamahaSHO
Final touch was putting the original tags back on.

How did you get the tags off without desroying them? What did you use to stick them back on?
yamahaSHO
They mostly fell off on their own. I used 3M spray adhesive to put them back on. 1

Did you notice any improvement over the old cable or did you replace too much at once to know what made what differernces?
yamahaSHO
I replaced and modified too much to tell you. I just looked for quality cable that was also fairly basic.
yamahaSHO
I loved doing this speakers and loved the way they turned out, but I just didn't have a place for them, realistically. I don't need multiple systems, didn't have another space to really use them, and I have La Scalas that I love. That said, I sold these to a buddy that had been looking for a good set of Heresy's for awhile. They exceeded his expectations and has been converted to a Klipsch and horn guy. I also sold him my "Klipsch Sonosub" I built about 10 years ago as it was a great match for the Heresy, and I ordered an SVS PC-4000 to better keep up with the La Scalas (I was actually surprised how well my sub kept up). I originally bought these for a garage, then made them so nice, I thought they should be in a main system. I am glad these will live on and be taken care of.
Racer X
Thanks for all the pictures and posts. Fully well agree Heresy suitable alternative to LaScala, especially if given a little help and TLC.

My house is over 100 years old so there isn't a ton of space. @yamahaSHO's rebuilt Heresy's are amazing for limited space. Paired with the sonosub for movie nights the system is hard to compete with. (Hello to the people who found there way here from a link on social media where I bragged about this build thread) Edited August 15 by ValScala
