rjtrout Posted December 22, 2020 Share Posted December 22, 2020 Hello, I apologize if this has already been covered but I couldn't find an answer through searching so here goes! I have a set of Klipsch R-28F floor standing speakers that I have really enjoyed over the past 6 years. They are currently hooked into some new additions as well, including a Mcintosh MA-5200 amplifier and some Audioquest Rocket 44 bi-wire speaker cables. Needless to say, I never thought these puppies would sound this good! But, my trusty Klipsch subwoofer that was purchased at the same time as the speakers has finally kicked the bucket and I am in search of a new subwoofer. I have looked at the REL T-series and was wondering if anyone out there could give some feedback on their REL/Klipsch pairing and how the sub helped your own system's performance? I am using this 2 channel setup for music and movies right now, and I have heard the REL Subwoofer could be a game changer! In specific, I am looking at the T9i model. Their 3000 series and above can be configured via bluetooth with your phone. Much better than that in the Garage Sale threads right now there is a Lil Mike's Micro Wrecker for an excellent price if you are in the vicinity of Wisconsin. The folded horn subs articulate much better... you are in the Klipsch forums . No affiliation with that seller, know if it was local I'd have had it here by now.
