carlthess40
I think you can go to the historian section. You may find that info there. I’ll see if I can’t find it or you can place a link hereSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My Serial number would imply 1989 if I use the Heritage formula, but KP-250's were not built in 1989.

The information of the KP 250 serial number is correct and yes there were KP250 speakers manufactured by KLIPSCH prior to 2000 , and even in 1989
Marco88888
Good evening, I'm thinking about buying used KP-250s, but I would like to understand two things: 1) the serial number 8832136, is it correct? what period does it correspond to? 2) if you wanted to verify the authenticity of the riser drivers, what codes should they have printed? I seem to have understood that the woofer is the K42 Thanks for your help
rockhound
I can't help with the serial numbers but might be able to answer questions 2. Tweeter Assembly = K79K or K79KP for 2nd version Midrange = K53K or K66E for the 2nd version Woofer = K42E or K42KP for the 2nd version These are great little PA speakers pair these with a 684/682 sub and you will have a very hard to beat PA for the money.
