Sam Marrocco
Hello, I'm planning to purchase a pair of Klipsch left and rights for my home theater system. I already own sn RP504C. I'm assuming that to 'match' that RP center I would want to stay in the same RP family? The room is 22' wide by 15' deep, with the viewers 12' from the screen, so the room is a bit small. I have to go with bookshelves as I don't have the floorspace for towers. Any suggestions for bookshelf L/Rs and a subwoofer for that size room and that existing center? mimalmo
RP-500M bookshelf speakers have the same mid/woofer and tweeter as your center. The RP-600M would sound very similar but give you better midbass on sounds like kick-drums.
willland
How large is the base footprint of the stands you will use with the said bookshelf speakers? Sometimes that space is the same or larger than what floorstanders would take up. With that said, I would go with the largest bookshelf speakers in the RP line and those are the RP-600M's.
