mdbrien 3 Posted January 16 I have a pair of Heresy 1's and was hoping for some recommendations on a subwoofer for 2 channel listening. I'm currently using a Cambridge Audio AXR100 receiver with the Heresy's. Thanks
willland 3070 Posted January 16 How large is your room? If under 2000ft3, I would suggest a pair of smaller subs like the SVS SB1000s. Though my RSW-10d(before the amp took a dump) was plenty with my RB-75s in a 3000ft3+ room. Bill

mdbrien 3 Posted January 17 Thanks for the input... I think I'll look at getting one SVS SB1000 for now and adding a second one later. I really appreciate the help!

That's exactly what I have for my Heresy II's. Great customer service, reasonable price, quick shipping. I don't think I left anything out. You will definitely notice a difference as the sub will fill in that missing last octave. The bonus in your case is, the AXR-100 has a dedicated subwoofer output so you can adjust the level and high pass filter to your liking.
