RC - 3

I had a RC3 with my RF3's (17y ago) and was not happy with it, sounded small and muffled compared to the RF's. I can only imagine it will be even worse next to a RB-75.

The RC-7 will match but difficult to find and a lot more expensive of course. Probably the newer Centers might be a better match as wel.

Sorry for the 'pain in the a**' reply.

Edit: I think you posted in the wrong forum (Garage Sale).

I agree with willand and think an rc-7 would be ideal or possibly an Rc-64ii. The lower end models may work, but the larger HF driver in the RB-75s will be cleaner and may show the weakness of a lesser center channel.

Btw, I had an rc-3 between Rf-3s a while back and thought it was a seamless soundstage but not with the larger speakers (RB-75s and rf-7s).

@big bones billy,

Do you still have those mahogany RB-5s at your place in Bradenton?

As far a center channel with your RB-75s, maybe look for an RC-7 or even an RC-64II would work great.

Hi Bill

I had a brain cramp. I meant the RB - 5's. Not RB - 75's. Yes, I still have them here in Bradenton. I think the RC - 3 should be sufficient with them, don't you? What would be a fair price?

Also sorry for posting on the wrong section.

Maybe $100.00 to $125.00?  Not the price expert hear.

Maybe you and @mustangerfourlife can discuss privately.

Hope it works out for you two.

in a smaller 3 speaker HT set up I use an RC-3 (ll) between RB-5 (ll)s and think it matches very well...I understand how many will tout the superiority of the RC-7 but I have not been able to find one at a decent price and now I just don't concern myself with looking further...

Good luck with yours...
