I know there's a bunch of DVD and Blu-ray players that support SACDs, but I'm not sure if that works well for 2 channel. I know there is 5.1 SACD discs for home theater, but I want something that is good specifically for 2 channel. I'm looking to spend less than $1k. I'm not opposed to get a Blu-ray player if it works well for 2 channel, just not sure. This is to hook up to my Parasound P6 preamp. Thanks Get anything that will spin the disc and put out a digital stream, preferably toslink for optical isolation Spend the money on a good DAC Do you already own the Stereo Amp ? Bubo
Things with moving parts die fast Put the money is a stand alone DAC or integrated with a DAC Most of the surrounds have good DAC and analog stages and are dirt cheap used.

Yes, I already owned the Parasound P6 preamp with the Parasound A23 amp, with a separate bluesound node 2 steamer/DAC. I ended up getting the denon dcd-1600ne sacd player.
