How much Chinese made product is in the Heritage and Professional lines?

It is hard to get away from Chinese components in electronic equipment. Most components in crossover networks are made in China, been that way for a number of years. I seriously doubt you will get Klipsch to provide their source for drivers or horns. Apple products are designed in USA and made in China.

Very easy answer -Check the tag in the back of the speakers

----if the speaker's tag  says Made in China , they are Made in China , if the speaker's tag says   Made in the USA , They are Made in the USA -

The Eminence woofers are made here. The Atlas mid drivers are made here. The tweeter is supposedly a Celestion product. Those were UK products. Might still be.

The internal wire is Audioquest. Made here.

The crossover components mostly likely are the only parts from China. And that may not be entirely true. There is a large resistor company here in Houston. Texas Components. Film caps are easy to make, there may be a domestic maker of the yellow film caps used today. Same with the chokes. It is a coil of wire.

Thanks. Most useful replies in the thread. Regarding the south Korea manufacture, how do you know this, RandyH000?

I know the Heritage bins are made in Hope. I don't have any information on the Professional gear's bins. I suspect Hope. Suspect.

Those caps are stamped TI. Is that Texas Instruments? Can the Chief confirm?

Tiajuana Imports. They source them from Taiwan Industries so they don't have to restamp them. Taiwan Industries get them from a guy who makes each one by hand, his name is Tom, can't remember his last name, starts with an I.

Or, that's what I heard.

OK. Gotcha. There are a number of true sunshiners about. I was trying to be diplomatic. It took a few goes. You knew what I meant. 😀

I'm simply curious as to the grand total of actual USA produced content. I'm not denigrating the source of whatever is currently installed and supplied.

I posted in the Pro forum to see if Roy would reply. I'll give it some time and if nothing, I'll put it in the special forum for Jube owners. I know Roy reads that one.

I do appreciate the economic difficulty of avoiding Chinese made components. Historically, Klipsch has been quite open about where and from whom they get their components. I'm simply looking for an official Klipsch response or at least a response from someone that has verifiable information (or at least inside knowledge - like colterphoto).
