Skeptics? We don't need no stinkn' SKEPTICS! Your Four States Weather Wizard called it two days ago, right down to the WHY using easily available information from the web. However, there's one more element. I learned about Four States Weather from Harold Taft, the worlds first TV weatherman who went on the air in 1949 (the year YFSR was born) and continued on Fort Worth Channel 5 for half a century. When computers came into being, he'd say "Here's what the computers have to say..." and, after that, he'd say "Now, here's whats REALLY going to happen!" He'd then use an outdoor camera to explain the cloud formations and what they meant. He had a 3 day forecast, but the 5 day was an "outlook" because he didn't believe it possible to accurately forecast 5 days. Here's to you, Harold!

It's been awhile for that area to get a decent amount of snow. Right after I moved to Murfreesboro we got a nice amount that was 11ish years ago. When I was young I remember getting a couple of these (80's).

Yes, at least 500 years. Maybe a nice snow, but nothing like 18" in Murf 11 years ago.

You have to have brass ones to forecast the weather.

Good call Dave...

In Texas? Cows can predict the weather in Texas (and actually do, they stand in a corner two days before a front comes in).

Here's the Forecast in Houston from June to October. Today is going to be oppressively hot,  reaching the mid to upper 90s with the RH about 90 to 92 percent. Fifty percent change of afternoon thunder showers, with lightning and possible hail.

Austin the same, adjust the temp up, humidity down, nix the afternoon showers.

Dallas the same, adjust temp and humidity.

The only easier place to predict the weather is Las Vegas.

Well, just glad that Dave is on top of things now...

Hawaii is easier.  Temps always the same, adjust for wind direction and velocity.
