Gregg357
bkwa, what was your impression of the csw uni vs the ES version you moved up to? im guessing the ES was top top notch, but wondering for 1/4th the cost, how much of a value is the csw uni. thx, gregg
bkwa1959
The cornscalla/universal crossover was a big step up from the original Klipsch crossover and I like most audio nuts is constantly looking for the next level of system improvement. The ALK ES crossovers were better and at their cost they should be.In my opinion the cornscala crossovers are a no brainer at there price point. The only reason I am selling off my Klipsch upgrade parts is that I am selling my Klipschorns and I knew I would never get my investment back selling speakers with other parts.
Gregg357
bkwa, thank you for your reply. that is the answer i was hoping for. i too did the alk es-khorn xo upgrade and love it as an extravagance. i also did the alk forte ii xo, with spectacular results. i'm equating the csw uni and the forte ii in build value. just picked up a set of 85 cwii's today. almost bought your xo's even without yet having a set of cwii's. who knew a pair would pop up so soon. gotta get on the horn to alk now. enjoy, gregg
