joessportster Posted May 12, 2021 Share Posted May 12, 2021 I have a superb Don Allen KT88 / 6550 / 6L6gc SET amp with massive Iron Totally overbuilt and sounds wonderful. It would be perfect for Klipsch Speakers, offering the best of SET mids and highs with enough grunt to drive those 15" woofers....................I love the amp but the gain is not a good match with my current Hi-Gain Supratek pre and 100db efficient speakers. Ultimately I would love to swap the amp for a lower output SET amp. I can add $$$ or accept $$$ to balance out the trade values. Here is a link to my amps Pictures and a great description. I have spare driver tubes that I will include and I have several options for output tubes.
