Moderators dtel Posted May 24, 2021 Moderators Share Posted May 24, 2021 Happy Birthday, your proof you can mumble your way into a carrier without even spiting out the chewing tobacco/ or marbles. OK calm down I do like a couple of his songs.

makos
He may not have been blessed with the most mellifluous voice but he could sure turn a phrase. His music is simple and pure and speaks to ones soul. I'm guessing his compositions have been covered by more great musicians than any other contemporary songwriter. I'll share one of my favorites:

oldtimer
Good one, but I doubt it is Dtel's second favorite.

Maby second, there are a few, I was just not into folk, maby a very little from his friend Joan Baez. Between the folk and his voice he was just not a favorite. But the lyrics was better than just about anyone, so much so he is the only person to win a Nobel Prize in literature for the words in his songs. But the song I put is one of my favorites of any kind of music.
