Randy,

On the Klipsch forum we typically celebrate when someone decides to keep their Klipsch speakers instead of selling them.

Instead you suggest that this owner shouldn't keep, but should dismantle an intact, vintage pair Klipsch speakers in order to part them out to sell them for maximum return.

I'm confused. Is this the Klipsch forum or the Flipper forum?

---AT EASE @triceratops   I was not suggesting anything , except to say that the seller was offering a GREAT DEAL  at 1250$ imho  ----now had the seller been out there for maximum profit , he could have parted out his speakers  , but he did not -

He decided to keep his speakers. Then you suggested he could have netted more by parting them out.

Bob Crites and his family have been providing fantastic customer service to the Klipsch community for many years.  They are still in business after Bob's recent passing.  They provide parts and service that is not available from Klipsch, and have done the same for many years.  To intimate that the Crites family provides goods and services that do not support Klipsch is a large disservice to them.  That sentiment needs to stop here on the forum.

I figure it's all about running up post count. It was around 5000 about a year ago and then he went keyboard ballistic. Toaster or something at 100,000 I guess.
