rivlinm
I'm looking to buy a nicer pair of Heresy (ideally II or newer). I live in central Florida. Right now I have an offer for some decent cherry Heresy IIs in exchange for my Chorus IIs (+ $450). My chorus are in pretty good shape inside and out. I was hoping for a bit more than 500, but what do you all think? Should I just buy the heresys I want individually and not trade? I like my chorus, but never really utilized them correctly, just as rears for a LS front. Edited June 14, 2021 by rivlinm
xo705cf
I have not heard the chorus I yet but I can guarantee you everybody on here is going to tell you to keep them…. I’m sure the heresy are good, but if I’m not mistaken the courses are on another level…
xo705cf
Sorry I missed that you had LaScala’s in the front that may be another story now…

This ^^ Unless your knowledge is solid about what the Heresy are (condition of the wood, networks, any other upgrades) and what you're sending down the road, it might be best to buy without muddy waters. Are the Heresy 'worth' the asking price?
willland
I am unfortunately about to liquidate some speakers/gear. I am in Kissimmee/Saint Cloud and have a pair of birch raw Heresys I can let go. I do have Heresy 2s in walnut oil with cane grills I might part with. Thanks, Bill
rivlinm
Thanks. Unless rock bottom prices (you can PM me) I think I'll just stick with my chorus IIs for now.
willland
Maybe not "rock bottom" but reasonable. Bill
