zelius92 Posted July 2, 2021 Share Posted July 2, 2021 Hi all, I’m new here and hoping to get some help. My front stage comprises a pair of RP-8000F and a RP-504C. Im running it direct to my Anthem MRX 520. It sounds great but I’m wondering if a separate power amp will add separation and clarity. If so, whicj Emotiva should I go with. Also, I know Parasound and some others have “better” amps but I’m not willing to spend that much for their 3 channel. any help would be much appreciated. Unless your room is pretty large and you often play your system at high volumes, the BaseX A3's 140w@8/200w@4 should be plenty of grunt to satisfy. DavidWebber72 Posted July 8, 2021 Share Posted July 8, 2021 Check for used gear. I know I just saw a 5 channel Emotiva UPA-5 for well under $400.
