La Scala Owners: What Kind of Music Sounds Best?

I'm fairly new to audio and setup. For something like this where one may want to add a sub to cover the lower frequencies, is the standard to run audio to the sub then to the speakers? I'm guessing the ideal setup would be that the sub has a crossover to properly handle the split if I understand correctly. I'll be moving soon to a bigger home where I'll be able to finally have space for La Scalas which is what I'm shooting for. Will be used mostly for jazz/classic rock/electronic. For the electronic, I'll want more pronounced bass but not sure the best way to handle this.

There are a few different ways you can go with subwoofers. I would recommend you listen to them on their own for a while before you make any decisions. You might be surprised.
