frankgh Posted July 27, 2021 Share Posted July 27, 2021 I picked up a pair of 83 Cornwalls with original cane grills from eBay last week. It was a 900 mile round trip to get them but the price was really good. I got them home and hooked the up to my Dynaco VTA 70 amp and they sounded HARSH. I gave Jim a call at JEM Performance and he sent caps to me. I looked over the Crites and ALK options but I wanted to keep them as close to the B-2 network as possible. The caps came yesterday and I installed them today. Man, what a difference! Smooth as butter and the sound-stage was truly 3D. I felt immersed in I, Robot. Amplifier's Where the River Goes sounded incredible.
