If you have a good schematic I am all ears. I am currently looking for a new direct coupled design, something along the line of the Monkey on a stick maybe.

I don't have a direct coupled 300B design handy, but one based off of a Loftin-White 2A3 design comes to mind. Should be fairly easy to design & build. Monkey on a stick??

After reading Mz. Kitty’s post, I decided to replace my KR Audio 300b tubes with my new WE300b tubes. After frittering the morning away, I completely agree with her assessment. A fine vail has been removed and the sound is clear and precise. I especially note it on strings; fascinating to hear the bow or fingers move. No flab in the bass, either. A serious & worthwhile improvement.

BTW, they glow in daylight, too.

Wow, I should get a commission on that sale!  Seriously, we were so impressed with the differences we heard too.  And the blue glow is cool!  Enjoy!  MZKITTY

Can you give me a cut of that commission? I started this thread!

I ride my motorcycle up around the Chattanooga area occasionally, maybe when the weather cools a bit I might stop by Rossville and see if WE has a demo system set up.
