I also have the ‘75 collared Khorns, and I believe all it means is that the top piece is able to be removed/separated from the bass bin. I owned these for 14 years and have only seen one other pair on the internet. Who ever had them took the bottom molding off which is too bad, these were like new and all original. Enjoy. I have been a fan of klipsch since the late 70’s and owned a bunch of sets of different models over the years.. this last purchase is the pinnacle of the pile and my bucket list speakers..!
