All music is wonderful - some you like some you don’t

But you haven’t heard all that is out there - So this thread just started is to address this

Name your favourite album Alphabetically ( if you have no album for a letter just pass to the next )

I have not listed my top album picks on this first post so you can use the copy and paste feature

Lets see what music goodies are posted

Example - Waterloo - Abba 😎

It will take some time, but I'm game.

I just copied and pasted the template and will add to it by editing it.

Probably not 100% of my preference; but close enough.  Much of this was just looking at my music library and I don't have everything (particularly no Fleetwood Mac or Bruce Springsteen).

  • Intentionally didn’t list albums called “Greatest Hits” or “Best of …” or “Live” written before or after the band name.

99 Luftballoons  - Nena

90125 -- Yes

All the Best … Glen Campbell

(The) Birds, The Bees & the Monkees -- Monkees

Close to the Edge — Yes

Day at the Races — Queen

Echoes: The Best of Pink Floyd

From the Inside -- Alice Cooper  (Honorable Mention:  Fragile - Yes)

Grand Piano Tour - Rick Wakeman

Headquarters — Monkees

In the Flesh (Live) — Roger Waters

Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of War of the Worlds

Keys to Ascension 2 — Yes

Live Killers - Queen. (Honorable Mention: Lace and Whisky - Alice Cooper)

Machine Head - Deep Purple

News of the World — Queen

Obscured by Clouds — Pink Floyd

Point of No Return — Kansas

Queen Rock Montreal — Queen

Recollections: The Very Best of Rick Wakeman

Sheer Heart Attack - Queen

Thank You for Coming — Downhere

Up Close and Alone — Burton Cummings

Viva la Vida — Coldplay (this was a reach; but V wasn't an easy letter).

Wish You Were Here — Pink Floyd

XOXO — The Jayhawks

You Can Tune a Piano but You Can’t Tuna Fish — REO Speedwagon

Got Nothing for the letter Z.

As dwilawyer said, this will take some time! However, I'll start with my absolute favorite and fill in the blanks later.

Edit to add a few:

It's A Beautiful Day - It's A Beautiful Day

Time - The Pozo-Seco Singers

The Ventures - The Ventures

I love so much different music but my most rare favorite album Is "Goin Surfing" from Bud Brownes surf classic of the same name. You bought that album at the local civic auditorium the movie was playing at and a few local record stores might have carried it. I paid $50 for it online from Australia, then found I had it already in a stash of old vinyl and then found an even better at a local garage sale for $4 about a year ago. I loved that movie and that album brings me right back to my surfing days

I grew up in a surf town and also love that music

Look it up - Newcastle NSW Australia

We also listened to Neil Young a lot

If it was just your favorite album and where it fell alphabetically fine , but Jeeez ... That's a lot of work .

well, I guess we're out of the hard quarantine; but since I quit working, all I have is time. Not as much money as I keep buying stuff. Just ordered a new 12 string guitar.

I guess since I'm the only submission, I win.   My music preference beats everybody.  haha.

So, what's my prize ... please not a bottle of vegamite ... tried that stuff once and it did not go down easily.  My friend from Essendon loves the stuff.  Puts it on his toast.
