did you do your own grills, or have them made, or?

Did them myself ... very easy job :) Used 1/4 inch plywood (MDF is better since it does not warp) and used Crites black speaker grill cloth. Fastened with velcro. :)

Are they open backed?

Did you use a horn bracket?

Did you use terminals or are they wired directly?

Yes; back is open. Just made them with 1x10 pine. No horn bracket; 510's are screwed in. Wired directly (haha; NO back ) :)

The 510 flange can hold the weight of the DE75 hanging in the back ok?

Yes, no problem.

Driver probably rests on box panel, no bracket required...

Driver is "only" supported by the 510 horn ... does NOT rest on box panel :)
