Advice on Vintage Receivers to power my speakers

Hi all, New to this forum and I have a question.

I own a Marantz 2265B and a pair of KG 5.5 speakers.

Had the receiver serviced this year and the sound is incredible. I would like to add a pair of KG 2.5 for the rear of my room and was wondering if the Marantz will still push the 5.5's and the 2.5's or will I need to make changes?

Thanks

Glad to know you are happy with the stereo 5.5 as is now.

Even though efficient the 2.5s will have some impact on the Marantz.

Could always flip the rears off when music listening. Or, if preouts, could get Marantz external monoblocks amps for fronts or backs depending on your setup there. Found my 5.5s did well with the extra watts. The monoblocks come in 125 and 175 watts depending on the 2 models.

They are newer than your receiver but, keep that sound to an extent that you may be after not missing.

How high the volume and

power required, you just may be good to go with what you have now.

Thanks!
