BruceTR
I love my Klipsch ProMedia 2.0 computer speakers. They still put out excellent sound. However, finally (due to age), the rubber surround on one of the 2.5" mid-bass drivers has started to crack. I know I can replace the rubber surround, but I prefer to replace the driver. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement driver? Unless I'm mistake (feel free to correct me on this), the specs for the driver are: Driver Description: 2.5" long-throw mid-bass driver. RMS Power Per Satellite (there are 2 satellites, i.e., speaker cabinets): 15 watts per satellite. Speaker Impedance: 3 ohms nominal. Frequency Response: 50Hz-20kHz +/-5dB Thanks for your help! iamsteve03
Polypropylene cone woofers with butyl rubber surrounds are great replacement speakers, but also provide excellent performance in new projects. You can find them easily on ebay.

Frzninvt
I replaced my Pro Media 2.1 satellites with far better ones and now it really sounds great. Spend the extra money and find yourself a pair of a/d/s L200's you wont be sorry. I swapped out my satellites for a pair and I won't be going back. These sound way larger than the are and add additional bass response. They are pictured below without their metal grills on.
