He called me tonight with a case of seller's remorse and has decided to keep the set. He sent my half payment back this evening. I have a pair I refurbished and modified; DPHL w/ DE-120 tweeters, A55-g mid drivers and Crites rebuilt Chorus II crossovers they will never go anywhere. Yep my custom 301-II's ultimately replaced my custom KI-362's-- pretty close to the same parts but the bass response of the 301's are a bit better IMO.
