Considering the Parasound a23+ for two channel listening

Hello all.  Having a decision making issue, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  And I'll apologize in advance if this wasn't submitted in the proper format or under the correct topic.  I'm new at this.

Currently looking at a Parasound s23+ for my HT setup for 2 channel listening.  Also considering the Outlaw 2220's (pair).  And maybe the Emotiva (2 or 3 channel).

I have a Marantz 7012 at the core of my 7.2.2 setup.  Cornwall III's for L and R speakers. And a Bluesound node 2i for streaming.

I'm leaning towards the Parasound, but wasn't sure if the Outlaw (more power and less expensive) may be the better route.

Thank you,

Steve

Thank you Kalifornian.  This would be my first time adding an amp to a receiver.  I'm trying to not make a big mistake and I'm hoping that adding an amp will make a difference.  I feel like I can get so much more out of the CW III's, or at least I hope to.

I found the a23+ for $1295, free shipping.  Out the door, the 2 Outlaw 2220's would be around $799 delivered.  This is what has given me hesitation, purely looking at price.

that's a great price for a new a23+ -- is it new, used, or b-stock?

@Steve(412)... I used a Parasound A23 (not the +) model in a 2 channel setup in my small reading room and it was great.  To my ears very detailed and maybe just a bit clinical, not warm.  I also used the same amp for L/R in a HT setup when I replaced it with an Akai AM-2850 for the music/reading room setup.  I'm more of a "vintage" sound person so take my comments with a grain of age (I'm 67).

I also owned an Outlaw 5000.  A good HT amp but again, not the "vintage" sound I like.  It was a solid performer and a real bargain for 5 channels of good sound.

Sold it fairly quickly.

Of the two, I'd take the Parasound.  I sold the Parasound (and the Akai) to help fund a Luxman R-117 receiver.

Thank you for the input.  It is appreciated.  Seems like the Parasound is the way to go.
