Wife makes it easy for me.... a month or two prior, she strategically takes the catalogs that she's been perusing, folds the page corner and circles the item. Pretending all the time that she's just marking them for thoughts later on about buying said items. I then "stumble" onto it....and surreptitiously open the catalogs and get said items ordered in. Item arrives, I wrap them up (or give them to her early if there is a need for said item) She acts surprised on Christmas. I act as though I was sneaky.
