Again... right diafragm for jbl 2404H ?

Already spend a lot of time reading about the diafragms for different types.

Ordered a pair, received wrong ones....

They fit but the inner ring does not align with the pole piece ( it is too high, causing a gap between them).

So when I place the center piece the inner ring is pulled down, putting stress on the diafragm...

Not much sound coming out of it that way.

Original diafragms are not for sale anymore, so any help is appreciated!

Looks like the OP did not buy the right thing or spend enough for it.

Over here it is very hard to get the right parts obviously: I contacted the supplier before ordering and they assured me this was 100% the right part. Also, I would buy original ones immediately IF they were still available.

A lot of times the people selling stuff have no idea about it, they just tell you it will fit to make a sale and play the percentage that you won't bother to return it. I look up my own car parts because of this. There is usually technical information available for products with dimensions and specifications, use them to make sure you are getting the correct part before making the purchase.

BTW: these are not cheap chinese fakes but cost 49 euro each over here, sold by P audio in England.

,  you're better of buying  a  used set of 2404 H ,

the Original diaphragms have been discontinued for quite some time   , here's the Aftermarket part #
