Trikxx
Someone explain this to me so I don’t think I have faulty speaker. the tweeter (the one at the top) produces no sound…just a very subtle hiss. All the vocals seem to come from the midrange horn. Woofer works fine. is this normal?
billybob
Welcome! No, not normally. He will be along to say more. Thanks! @Trikxx
billybob
Meanwhile, are you listening to them now, and any notable highs in the music? Both speakers the same lack of highs? Just get these speakers? Thanks!
CWOReilly
I use a tone generator app on my phone to test such things so you can truly determine if they work. Assuming source and connections are good this will help narrow down the problem.

Just noticing today

Marvel
Welcome Trikxx! The tweeter would normally be playing frequencies that are 6kHz and up. Depending on the music, there isn't much information there, and it usually drop off more the higher you go. You can try playing some music with really high frequencies (cymbals, etc.) and listen through a paper towel tube up to the tweeter. Stuff a sock or towel in the mid horn to block what is coming out of it. If you are already hearing hiss from both tweeters, I think they are probably working. I tried it with some high frequency music. It’s working. Thanks everyone for the help.

Very little voices.
