If I were to find a K-55V with its matching horn would it be a direct replacement for the K-53/701? What about the network? Would anything in it need to be changed? Looking at the Type E crossover from the H-1 and the E-2 crossover from the H-1.5 the only difference is in the woofer section so my guess is that unless you change woofers as well you shouldn't have to change the crossovers. It should be noted however that from my experience and from what I've read here on the forum the k-53 runs approx 2db hotter than the k-55v so you may notice a slight reduction in mid driver output but nothing different than the original H-1.
