Open back, closed back, 80 ohm or 250 ohm, the choices go on and on. Years ago you’d just get any headphone and it would pretty much work. I had an 1140 Dokorder with Koss pro 4aa and it worked fine. Now I’m trying to get the right phones to listen on my Bluesound Vault 2. I found the Beyerdynamic 770 with 250 ohms might fit the bill.
